But hey, let's talk about how you're gonna get to the Cancun International Airport – it's not just about the destination, it's also about how you get there and what kind of experience you wanna wrap up your trip with.

Private Cancun transfers are the way to roll. Picture this: you, kicking back in a comfy ride, bidding Cancun farewell in style with a friendly driver as you watch the palm trees roll by. Getting to the Cancun airport with pre-paid private transportation is the most highly recommended mode of travel. Savvy travelers book ahead with round-trip transportation to their Cancun hotels and back again but better late than never if you need a lift to the Cancun airport. Safe, guaranteed smooth rides.

The ADO bus is another option to get to the airport but it comes with some drawbacks. The bus departs from downtown Cancun, not the hotel zone, which means you will need to cart all your luggage yourself on the local R1 and R2 buses or risk a taxi, not recommended. The ADO bus is an economical choice that is probably best for young and spry solo travelers or those traveling super light. Happy shuttle was fantastic. They were not present at the airport when I arrived, however, within 20 minutes they were there. The driver had a cooler full of ice cold cervezas for the adults and apple juices for the kids just as I requested. Our driver was helpful with loading and unloading bags and was pleasant to talk to during the drive. Our return trip back to the airport was scheduled in advance and I had a printed confirmation receipt for that return trip before departing the airport. On the day of our return trip I arrived downstairs 15 minutes early and found that they were already there which was great. Overall, happy shuttle was fantastic and I would be happy to hire them for their services again in the future.
