Hola, I'm Kelly McLaughlin, a travel writer who has called Cancun home for more than 20 years. I've explored every corner of Cancun, Isla Mujeres, and all over the country visiting fascinating destinations in Mexico. I started writing about travel in Cancun in 2005 as a Tripadvisor local expert and have been creating content ever since. In 2009 I won the Best Latin American Blog award as “Cancun Canuck” and I am proud to be an “OG” writer of Cancun content and digital love for Mexico. 

Throughout my career I've had the pleasure of writing for a variety of clients, from airlines and travel agencies to the federal government of Mexico.
